6th grade had to compete to declare a winner in the Soup-er Bowl Challenge. Mrs. Braden's class came in first followed by Mrs. Rockwell and then Mrs. Turner. Thank you Student Council for organizing this competition.







Let's give a shout out to our tranportation director Mr. Paul LaBanca, Jeremy LaBanca, mechanic, and all of our bus drivers. Bus inspections were Monday and our fleet received a score of 100%!

Trinity Jackson and Savannah Varner rehearsed for 6 hours at Moberly High School on Saturday, February 17th. They performed a concert at the end of the evening with the Northeast Missouri Junior High District Honor Bands. These are nomination based groups with over 200 middle school students from around our district performing together.




The Elsberry FFA Clothes for a Cause distribution will be Monday, February 19 from 5-7 p.m. in the elementary gym.


The Elsberry R-2 School District will be closed Friday, February 16 due to forecasted weather conditions.


Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! We want to express our gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to our very own SRO Julie Conner today. The Elsberry School District is lucky to have her serving our students and staff each day.



Mrs. Ogden's art club students are having a lot of fun on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Students have been sketching, watercolor painting, canvas painting, creating popsicle stick art designs, designing 3D picture art, and there is still more fun to happen.











The 8th Graders learned more about what St. Charles Community College has to offer.
All students went to the Dardenne Creek campus where students looked at nursing labs and the professional kitchen. At Technical Campus Wentzville students learned about the robotics, welding and CDL programs. On main campus students learned more about the offerings at St. Charles Community College and how the A+ program benefits students.





The JA Finance trip for 7th graders included budgeting and life finance simulations but also has a focus on technical skill training. Students participated in virtual reality simulations such as an electrical lineman, fork lift operator training and heavy machinery training. A huge thank you to our many parent volunteers for attending.

Mark your calendars! Fine Arts Night is March 14 from 5-8 p.m. Come see the talent of our students in person and support our arts programs.
Students in grade K-8 can submit entries to participate in Fine Arts Night directly to Mrs. Hartley. All entries are due by Tuesday, March 5.

Students in Mrs. Kreuger's class are using Blueprint to research and design structures. The first build was a skyscraper.
