All kids are motivated differently! Mrs. Aslin gives out points for good behavior. One of her students has been saving up points all year so he could earn a chance to put a pie in her face. Way to keep it fun Mrs. Aslin!

Thank you Mrs. Turner for sharing more JA Biz town photos.

The EMS Student Council had a great turnout and beautiful weather at the outdoor movie night last Friday. Thank Brooke Schuler and Ryan Heitman for providing the equipment for our evening. About 70 students were there to enjoy the evening with friends. Thank you Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Braden for organizing this event for our students.

The Middle School Student Council would like to invite veterans to join students (grades K-12) in celebrating Veterans Day. The Veterans Day Breakfast will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024. The Veteran attending should be at the school between 8:15 and 8:30 and should enter at the Elementary Doors. Veterans will go to the elementary gym to check in and wait to meet with their student. After breakfast we will have an assembly in the High School Gym.

Our fifth, sixth, and seventh grade students all get to go on a field trip to JA Biz Town each year. During the trip students role play careers, balance budgets, earn JA bucks, spend money, and practice communication and critical thinking outside of the classroom. This trip has been free for our students annually. If you are looking for an organization to support this one is highly recommended by Mr. Miller.

Mrs. Runyon’s class created Cell City models to demonstrate the functions of cell organelles.

Chromebook reminders. In the back to school chaos you may have forgotten the Chromebook guidelines. The best way to avoid damage is to not use your Chromebook case as a place to store homework, pens, gum, candy, etc. Charge it daily to be ready for class the next day.
