Our EHS Scholar Bowl Team earned 2nd place at the district competition. Great job scholar bowl students and sponsor Mr. Hunter.

Baseball Schedule update April 19: The baseball team will play today at Silex against Clopton starting at 3:00 p.m. and then a second game against Silex immediately after.
Mrs. Cooper and some of her students attended the Scott Lang Leadership workshop this week.

A little update for the baseball game today.
We are going to try to do everything we can to play the game today. We are watching the radar. Right now the field is covered. The plan is to untarp the field at the earliest 5:00 p.m. and the latest 6:00 p.m. We will not start the game after 7:00 p.m. There will only be a Varsity game tonight.
Penny Lorenz Anderson and Nick Schneider will be joining us through Think First on April 23rd at 10am. Penny has a spinal cord injury and Nick has a traumatic brain injury plus an amputated leg due to a car crash. Penny’s friend was driving recklessly and Nick was hit by a distracted driver while on a moped. During the presentation they will discuss brain and spinal cord injuries, how to keep yourself safe, and inform students that this age group is the most at risk.
Not exactly great golf conditions today, but that didn't slow the team down!
EHS Track update:
The high school track team will not be going to Wright City today. Also the meet for 4/18 in Louisiana has already been cancelled due to forecasted weather. The Louisiana meet will now be on 4/23.
