DO YOUR BEST!

Mrs. Dormire's class finished their group projects entitled "Body Biographies" after reading Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Each group chose their favorite character and created a visual and written portrait illustrating several aspects of the characters like within the literary work. Each symbol was accompanied by a quote or passage from the play explaining what each symbol represents for that character. They took into account placement, body parts, virtues and vices, symbols, and any changes the characters may have gone through. Each group displays their "body" during a presentation.
"This is one of the most intensive projects my Freshmen complete. I love the collaboration, thoughtfulness, and artistic abilities that come out of this unit!" - Mrs. Dormire
