ATTENTION ATHLETES:
Jessica Herring will be at the school from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, August 11. Physical forms must be filled out and signed by a parent prior to the physical. Only the last page of the form gets returned to the Athletic Director. You must have a physical on file to start practices.
Physicals are valid for two calendar years.

The Elsberry R-2 School District Back to School Open House is Thursday, August 15 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Please welcome Erin Toeniskoetter as our new Elsberry Food Service director. Food services will be managed again by the school district, not an outside vendor. All food service prices have moved up 10 cents in accordance with state regulations. Free and Reduced lunch applications will be distributed the first week of school. Please return those promptly.

When is the last time you heard your musician practice? Believe it or not, instruments can be played year around. Keep those skills sharp this summer and Mrs. Cooper will be delighted this fall!
The Award of Excellence is given by MSHAA to athletes who demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship, ethics and integrity. We are proud to announce the recipients at EHS are Senior Zeke Byers and Junior Mya Pflasterer.
Join us for the first Elsberry Athletic Booster Club meeting for the 2024-2025 School Year on
Tuesday, June 11th at 5 p.m. Meeting will be in the Cafeteria. Due to construction you must enter through the Elementary Doors. We will be discussing plans for our annual golf tournament as well as other plans for the new year. We are looking for new members to help.
We do three fundraisers each year.

We also manage all concession stands, we are in charge of the Homecoming coronation, Senior Night for each sport and we host the fall, winter, and spring athletic awards banquets.
We raise money to buy uniforms for all EHS and EMS sport teams. The goal is to purchase new uniforms for each team every four years. We would really appreciate any new volunteers.
ACT Information for Saturday, June 8:
Enter at the elementary doors and follow the signs to your testing location. Check in starts at 7:45am. The test will begin at 8am. Examinees need to bring a photo ID, their test admission ticket (printed from the ACT website), number 2 pencils, and a calculator.
Summer school begins on Tuesday, June 4 and continues through Friday, June 28. Summer school will be Tuesday-Friday, 7:45 am - 3:35 pm. Due to summer construction work, all students PreK-12 will use the elementary office entrance for drop off and pick up. On the first day all high school students will report to the high school library for a short meeting. All students attending summer school are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. Buses will run the regular year routes, a copy of the routes can be viewed at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Kq8W7CTH8PRcdrA_R1_anyP6LofcwXye/view?usp=sharing The route times may be adjusted during the first week based on the number of riders.
Cross Country Camp will be held May 28-30 (Tues.-Thurs.) for any incoming 6th-12th graders @6pm at the track. Practice will last around an hour.
