Thank you to all of our staff who also work at Explorer's Club and E2. We are so lucky to have the 21st CCLC grant that makes these programs possible.

Make sure if you speak to one of these ladies today you say an extra thank you! We are so lucky to have the best administrative professionals!

A highlight of the Treblemakers concert is when all the future Treblemakers, the younger brothers, sisters, cousins, and friends, get to join the group for a song. Thank you Mrs. Heras for always encouraging our students, and future students, to find the joy in music.

EMS students learn how to properly measure and safely prepare recipes with Mrs. Erin Black in the FACS room.

Mrs Black's students completed the "Trash to Toy” project as part of their childcare unit. Students had to create a toy using recycled or otherwise trash items. After creating the toys, students had to present to the class and explain the appropriate age range, any safety concerns, and what skills and type of development could be gained with their toy. They spoke about things like fine motor skills, language development, creativity, imagination, diversity, basic leaning like colors, counting, and so much more! It was fun to see these kiddos think outside the box, work very well in their groups, and make amazing creations!

Thank you Miss B and the Friends of Elsberry Literacy (FOEL) for supporting our students. This charitable group ensures that every Elsberry student who wants books has the chance to pick a free book twice a year. The picture shows some of Mrs. Rockwell's sixth graders showing off their new books.
If you would like to know more about the Friends of Elsberry Literacy, or if you are interested in making a donation to this organization, please email Karin Busiere at kbusiere@elsberry.k12.mo.us
