During College and Career Week, our Event Planning class hosted lunch for all of our career speakers, helped escort speakers to their classrooms, and made each guest a goody bag to say thank you for coming to our school. Thank you Mrs. Black and her students for helping make our week such a success!

Mrs. Black did a lot of learning over the summer to get ready for the school year! Looks like all of her hard work has been paying off in the classroom.

Family Relations class did a project discussing challeges or issues that could "break" a family apart. Then students had to write on tape ideas that could "repair" or mend the family while actually repairing a broken flower pot that represented the family. Students embraced the challenge and realized it takes a lot of repairing to fix damage after it occurs.

Did your child mention College and Career week to you? If not, ask them about it. Today all seniors completed at least one application during English class.
