This week is College and Career Week! This is a great time to ask your child about their future plans.

The EHS staff snapped a quick picture in their new staff t-shirts last Friday.

Mrs. Gomel, high school librarian, want to remind everyone that Friends of Elsberry Literacy is still accepting used ink cartridges for recycling. FOEL uses all fundraising money to support free books to students. You can drop off your used ink cartridges in the HS Library. (Although we have no outlet for the Epson cartridges - sorry).
Thank you!

Those students wishing to complete enrollment and earn college credit for Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Composition 1 (English 3 Honors), or World Literacy Types (English 4 Honors) will need to complete the Parent Approval form by September 15th. All parent approvals were sent to parent email addresses. Payment is not due for another 4-6 weeks. Bills will be emailed to parents and mailed home.

The September 9th ACT at Elsberry has been cancelled due to low enrollment. If you are registered to take the test, your testing location has been moved. Log in to act.org to view your new testing location.

EHS Ceramics Students had a back to school challenge last week to become familiar with the properties of clay. Students had 20 minutes to create a freestanding tower. One tower won for height, but the other team debated artistic quality as their victory. Thanks for sharing Ms. Bartig.
