Family Relations class did a project discussing challeges or issues that could "break" a family apart. Then students had to write on tape ideas that could "repair" or mend the family while actually repairing a broken flower pot that represented the family. Students embraced the challenge and realized it takes a lot of repairing to fix damage after it occurs.

The Elsberry Athletic Booster Club will be hosting Senior Night this Friday (10/6/23)
for fall sports. This includes Cross Country, Soccer and Softball (after the soccer game).

This week is packed with guest speakers sharing information about their careers from a variety of industries. Please say thank you to our guests if you see them out and about in the community. We appreciate them taking the time to invest in our EHS students. If you would be willing to speak about your career please let us know. Ms. Towery is always looking for volunteers.

Did your child mention College and Career week to you? If not, ask them about it. Today all seniors completed at least one application during English class.

This week is College and Career Week! This is a great time to ask your child about their future plans.

The EHS staff snapped a quick picture in their new staff t-shirts last Friday.

Mrs. Gomel, high school librarian, want to remind everyone that Friends of Elsberry Literacy is still accepting used ink cartridges for recycling. FOEL uses all fundraising money to support free books to students. You can drop off your used ink cartridges in the HS Library. (Although we have no outlet for the Epson cartridges - sorry).
Thank you!
